Scenes at WDW Pleasure Island, Downtown Disney and the boat rides to the Port Orleans hotels for lunch

Sequences of pictures like these are taken with the high speed repeat mode on, with my Nikon. Played in series they show motion, but might also catch a bird taking off in flight, something otherwise hard to catch.

I wasn't lucky enough. The take off occurred between bursts and digital download to the SD card.

Clouds and sky line across the lake at Pleasure Island
Churning waters

I haven't run into them here but apparently Manatee roam these waters

Looking back at the shoreline, it is protected from erosion here bye rock piled beach

This helium balloon looks familiar. I think it used to fly in Branson. Better weather for it here.

This time I did catch a bird in flight, but I had turned off rapid repeat :(

The boat ride to the hotel restaurants passes this golf course
These tree house accommodations keep changing their status. Last I checked you have to be a VC member to use them now.

The Port Orleans French Quarter dock approaching

I stopped for lunch at this cafeteria style spot in French Quarter. It used to have a full service restaurant too, years ago but now shares Boat Wright House with Riverside.

Approaching the Riverside part of this hotel complex

Riverside has both a sitdown restaurant and a  cafeteria style.

I took alternate transportation back

The main bus stop is on the east end on downtown Disney shopping.
