This beautiful little college town in North Idaho was really impressive on a summer visit.

There seemed to be flowers and potted plants everywhere, perhaps it was the time of year.

The deep fresh water lake is surrounded by mountains, providing great views.

The tourism options include flights on these pontoon planes

But the tour we took was this open deck tour boat, with a great view and guide.

The locals were out sunbathing, in August, perhaps the only month warm enough :)
